This week’s check-in post is going to be short and sweet—I have no good reasons for this except that I’m just tired. I’m blaming daylight savings time! Am I the only mom whose kids did NOT do well with the extra hour this week? Man, it’s kicking our butts!
For the last several weeks, I have been eating a lot of the same things, which I don’t mind. Caesar salads (Marie’s creamy Caesar dressing, in the refrigerator section of your grocery store, is to die for) and egg white omelets are my friends lately. So are apples with chunky peanut butter. Oh, and Greek yogurt! It’s week 7 on Weight Watchers and I’m settling into a new normal for eating. I still don’t feel deprived, which is key if I’m going to stick with the program.
I hoped to get a couple good hikes in this week, but it just didn’t happen. I wondered if this might be the week I gained weight since I haven’t gained at all since I started attending meetings and it is bound to happen at some point. Let’s find out, shall we?
Every time I step on the scale, I’m relieved. Only half a pound away from my first 10 lbs! Let’s hope I can reach that goal this next week. I'm counting on you to pray me through it. Thanks, friends!
